I came to England at a young age. I left School at 15 and worked at a Boarding School and was trained as a cook. After that I worked at a Hospital until I married in 1956. After raising my family, I worked as a machinist, drove fork lift trucks, as an industrial machinist made touring van interiors and seat covers, assembling car spark leads for Sure Start in Cheapside Luton, as a Canteen assistant for Britannia and a driving instructor.
